The peritoneal dissemination team participated in a large study about cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC in cholangiocarcinoma with peritoneal cancer, the results of which will be published soon. This is a multicenter research involving all the major centers dealing with peritoneal cancer around the world, which shows that the above method is superior to classic chemotherapy and gives hope to patients who suffer from biliary tract or gallbladder cancer.
